Can One Perform the Same Salah Twice in a Row?
Question
Asslamu Alaikum today I offered Magrib Namaz individually later few people came and one of them told me to offer Magrib Namaz again with jamat with them so I offered again . Is it allowed in Islam to offer one namaz for two times one after the other?
Islamic Ruling & Answer
VerifiedAccording to Hanafi Fiqh repeating Fajr, ‘Asr, and Maghrib after having already prayed them once is makrūh taḥrīmī, whether individually or in congregation. The first prayer already fulfills the obligation.
