Dua before eating
اللّٰهُمَّ بَارِكْ لَنَا فِيمَا رَزَقْتَنَا وَقِنَا عَذَابَ النَّارِ
O Allah, bless the food You have given us and protect us from the punishment of Hell.
Dua after eating
الْحَمْدُ لِلّٰهِ الَّذِي أَطْعَمَنِي هٰذَا وَرَزَقَنِيهِ مِنْ غَيْرِ حَوْلٍ مِنِّي وَلَا قُوَّةٍ
All praise is for Allah who fed me this food without my power or effort.
Dua while leaving home
بِسْمِ اللّٰهِ تَوَكَّلْتُ عَلَى اللّٰهِ، لَا حَوْلَ وَلَا قُوَّةَ إِلَّا بِاللّٰهِ
In the name of Allah, I trust in Allah. There is no power except with Allah.
Dua before sleeping
اللّٰهُمَّ بِاسْمِكَ أَمُوتُ وَأَحْيَا
O Allah, in Your name I die and I live.
Dua after waking up
الْحَمْدُ لِلّٰهِ الَّذِي أَحْيَانَا بَعْدَ مَا أَمَاتَنَا
All praise is for Allah who gave us life after sleep.
Dua for forgiveness
رَبِّ اغْفِرْ لِي وَتُبْ عَلَيَّ إِنَّكَ أَنْتَ التَّوَّابُ
My Lord, forgive me and accept my repentance.
Dua for parents
رَبِّ ارْحَمْهُمَا كَمَا رَبَّيَانِي صَغِيرًا
My Lord, have mercy on my parents as they raised me when I was young.
Dua for guidance
اللّٰهُمَّ اهْدِنِي وَسَدِّدْنِي
O Allah, guide me and keep me firm on the right path.
Dua in distress
لَا إِلٰهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ سُبْحَانَكَ إِنِّي كُنْتُ مِنَ الظَّالِمِينَ
There is no god but You. Glory be to You. I was among the wrongdoers.
