Question
Assalamualaikum. If a person suffered from waswas that make him belive in fasle certainty , should he also ignore the doubts if in prayer too . If someone gets though he/she has committed shirk and was also suffering from doubts in prayer and had counselling and ignored them , and then got no doubt in prayers but the thoughts that she / he has comitted shirk was still there , should that person ignore the doubts in wudhu and prayer . If His health is not well and gets lot of doubts while he is reciting , in middle , at last and sometimes he is unsure if it happened but thought , your doubts in prayer ended and your health is bad , but thought that he should ignore it and so did but was unsure and if he really should as his doubts in prayer ended and didn't know what to do and thought of asking about it later to a friend and now thinks he must have committed shirk . By doubts , I mean the the feeling of something popping in mouth , or a sound , or a off pronounciation feeling . The person doesn't if he is sure or not .
Islamic Ruling & Answer
VerifiedWalekumussalam,
All these things are waswas (whispers) and not reality therefore, they must be ignored in both prayer and wudhu.
Merely having a thought or doubt does not constitute shirk.
Shirk does not occur unless a person truly believes it in the heart and affirms it.
Hearing a sound, feeling something in the mouth, or doubting pronunciation are all satanic whispers.
So remain at ease:
You have not committed shirk. Just ignore all such doubts and continue your worship .
