Question
If a person who has a sore throat during prayer is getting doubts if pronounciation was correct and when he says to himself ignore his mind says but you weren't paying attention. That person knows what he is saying but doesn't always pay attention to if the sound is right or not . I don't how to explain like saying and then getting a doubt that your throat was sore there , so he repeats it again with full focus on pronounciation and it's correct . So he ignored every doubt when if his mind said , you have sore throat so it might be wrong and you should pay focus to if the pronouncition if each letter is correct And is also getting doubts , on his tone during prayer again , which he has gotten before and ignored , but this time it has come again and he ignored . Is this person in this scnerio doing the right thing .
Islamic Ruling & Answer
VerifiedYes, in this case the person is doing the right thing. If he ignores every doubt and focuses on the actual recitation, without deliberately struggling over the pronunciation of each letter, then the prayer is valid. It is not permissible to keep repeating or getting entangled in doubts; rather, leaving the doubts aside and continuing the prayer is the correct approach.
