Intrusive doubts about sinful statements

Question

Assalamualaikum. If a person , whenever she opens her textbook , she thinks something is written wrong there , and if she says it , it would be a sin , like , if there it says "this thing allows this thing to pass" she would think it's sin and would not write it in her exams , and many more like this whenever there is written ordered , permit , supremacy etc . And if in a chp , it's written "he asked God" , she doesn't know if she should write it in her answer as a writer is not muslim. How can one know if this sentence is not sinful for them to says . What to do if it happens frequently.

Islamic Ruling & Answer

Verified

Walekumussalam,

All these thoughts are merely whispers of doubt (waswas), and in reality, they hold no significance. Sentences in a textbook that are written as quotations, statements, or academic explanations are not sinful to write in an exam, whether the author is Muslim or non-Muslim.

Therefore, be at ease:

Writing or stating such sentences is permissible, and it is necessary to ignore these doubts.
