Can Muslim Women Wear Bangles That Make Noise?
Question
Is it permissible for a female to wear something that contains sound like bangles with little bells on it ?
Islamic Ruling & Answer
It is not advisable for a woman to wear bangles or jewelry that produce a sound if that sound can be heard by non-mahram men or may attract their attention. However, there is no harm in wearing such items at home among her husband, mahram relatives, or other women.
The Qurâan instructs women not to display their adornment in a manner that draws attention to it (Surah An-Noor: 31)
