Can Muslim Women Wear Bangles That Make Noise?

Question

Is it permissible for a female to wear something that contains sound like bangles with little bells on it ?

Islamic Ruling & Answer

Verified

It is not advisable for a woman to wear bangles or jewelry that produce a sound if that sound can be heard by non-mahram men or may attract their attention. However, there is no harm in wearing such items at home among her husband, mahram relatives, or other women.

The Qurโ€™an instructs women not to display their adornment in a manner that draws attention to it (Surah An-Noor: 31)
