Shaddah Mispronunciation in Tashahhud Ruling

Question

If a person in Tashahhud recites Attahiyyaatu lillaahi wassalawaatu , wattayyibaatu , assalaamu 'alayka 'ayyuhan-Nabiyyu wa rahmatullaahi wa barakaatuhu, But reads the doubling letter seperately , but was confused if it can be recited like this , as he /she recites one words that should be doubled seperately , and was sure about them that it can be recited like this , but was doubtful in case of this one as he/she never heard anyone recite it seperately and had a strong feeling it shouldn't be doubled but still did it . Does it changes the meaning and is the prayer invalid .

Islamic Ruling & Answer

Verified

Reciting a letter with shaddah separately in Tashahhud is not the correct method, because a shaddah means pronouncing a single letter with emphasis.

However, if you did this out of ignorance or doubt, then as long as the meaning did not clearly change, the prayer is not invalid.

Therefore, your prayer is valid, but you should try to recite with correct pronunciation in the future and ignore such doubts.
