Missing Fajr Accidentally Doesn’t Cancel Worship
Question
A man did all ibadat what he can do on laylatul qadar night and was awake whole night but accidently he missed Fajr salah by sleeping and when we woke up time was over of Fajr he was in guilty and rush and read khaza Salah of Fajr now will his all ibadat will be counted which he did at night
Islamic Ruling & Answer
VerifiedYes, in shā’ Allāh all his worship of the night (Laylatul Qadr) will be accepted and counted.
Missing Fajr by accident (due to sleep) is not a sin, as long as it was not done deliberately. The Prophet ﷺ said that if someone sleeps or forgets a prayer, he should pray it when he remembers — which he did.
His feeling of guilt is a good sign of īmān, and making qadhā of Fajr was the correct action. So his night’s worship is not wasted.
