Beating Shaytan on the Day of Judgment

Question

Assalamualaikum. On the dua of judgement , can one ask Allah , to give him/her permission to beat shaitan.

Islamic Ruling & Answer

Verified

Walekumussalam,

There is no specific mention in Shariah of asking for permission to beat Shaytan in the supplications of the Day of Judgment. It is better for a person to ask Allah for forgiveness, mercy, and Paradise, and to seek refuge from the evil of Shaytan.
