Question

Assalamualaikum, If a person in past had a bad habit of saying abd words , and started replacing those words with other words , that sound similiar but are different. For example , let's assume flower is a bad word and if a person instead of saying flower said shower . Is it permissible .

Islamic Ruling & Answer

Verified

Walekumussalam,

Yes, it is permissible as long as the new word is not bad and is used only to replace the habit.
