Should a Muslim Trim, Shape, or Leave the Beard Untouched?

Question

what is order about darhi should we set it, should wwe cut the edges of it and make it look beautiful or leave it till it becomes one muth.

Islamic Ruling & Answer

Verified

Keeping a beard of one fist length is obligatory in Shariah. There is no harm in trimming or setting the hair that exceeds one fist. Within the limits of Shariah, it is also permissible to clean the hair of the cheeks and neck and to make a proper line besides the chin and jaw.

However, the various fashionable beard styles that are being made nowadays in the name of lining are equivalent to making a mockery of the beard, and it is necessary to avoid them.
