Ruling on water drops and wet floor during wudu

Question

Assalamualaikum, If during wudhu , while a person wants to wash his feet and before he pours water a drop of water fells , will that be counted as one pour , and should the wudhu be repeated . Should the floor be dry while doing wudhu and if the feet move during wudhu and the floor is wet , is the wudhu invalid .

Islamic Ruling & Answer

Verified

Walekumussalam,

During wudu, if a drop of water falls on the foot by itself, it will not be counted as “washing” until the entire foot is properly washed. This does not affect the wudu, and there is no need to repeat it.

Likewise, it is not necessary for the floor to be dry. If the floor is wet and the feet move during wudu, the wudu is still completely valid and does not become invalid.
