Islamic Ruling & Answer

Verified

Walekumussalam,

Sending blessings and salutations upon the Prophet īˇē is a source of reward and virtue. Sending Durood individually in a low voice and making supplication after the Adhan is established through Hadith. However, the customary practice of announcing and reciting Salat-o-Salam through a microphone before the Adhan or after Salah, or reciting it collectively in a loud voice, is not established from the Hadith or the Companions (may Allah be pleased with them). Therefore, one should refrain from this practice.

As for Qaseedah Burdah, reciting it and listening to it is permissible, provided that its verses do not contain anything contrary to Islamic teachings.

And Allah knows best.
