Are In-game portals considered magic?

First of all, it should be noted that a Muslim should avoid such games as much as possible, because many modern games contain elements such as wasting time, music, inappropriate content, violence, or other aspects that may conflict with Islamic teachings. Therefore, engaging in such games without a genuine need is generally not advisable.

However, if the question is specifically about the Islamic ruling, then not every portal found in a game must necessarily be classified as magic. If, within the game's fictional setting, it is merely portrayed as a gateway that transports a character from one place to another (or to another dimension), and it is not presented as real magic, does not promote belief in magic, shirk, or teach or glorify actual magic, then it is not necessary to regard it as magic solely for that reason.

Nevertheless, since such games often contain other Islamic concerns as well, it is safer and better for a Muslim to avoid them
