However, al-Rahman is one of the exclusive names of Allah, so it is preferable to choose names such as Abdur Rahman or Muhammad Ismail Abdur Rahman. Nevertheless, if the intention is simply to give a good Islamic name, Muhammad Ismail is an excellent and blessed choice.
