What Does Receiving a Ring in a Dream Mean?

I had a dream about a man I know sitting across me on a moving vehicle. It was a bright sunny day, golden type of bright sunny day. He was smiling and then he said "I wanna give you a ring, if you'd like" and then he opened his palm and there it was a beautiful shining gold ring with little diamonds on top of it. The man was also wearing a silver ring. I took the ring and held it close to me. What is the meaning of the dream?
