Am I Required to Tell Others About Respecting Allah’s Name in Books?

Question

Assalamualaikum, This is my fourth time asking about this matter. I am deeply sorry I have many non muslim friends, both in my class and the other . Should I tell them all about the Hindi book and name of the author . If yes , can I first ask them if they are giving to to someone else

Islamic Ruling & Answer

Verified

Walekumussalam,

If the book is for general knowledge or educational purposes and it does not contain anything against the religion, then you may tell your non-Muslim friends about the book and the name of the author. There is no harm in that.

However, if you fear that they might use it for a wrong purpose or pass it on to an inappropriate place, then as a precaution it is better to first ask them whom they intend to give it to.
