Is It Permissible to Wear Embroidered Clothing in Islam?

Question

Assalamualaikum If a person has bought clothes for Eid that is covering , but it has embroidery on it , can she wear it . If embroidery is common in her country .

Walekumussalam,

Yes, if the clothing fulfills the required covering, wearing it with embroidery is permissible, even if it is common.

Provided they are not for arrogance or showing off.
