How Can Laylat al-Qadr Be Found?

Walekumussalam,

Laylat al-Qadr cannot be determined with certainty. However, the hadees mention that it should be sought in the odd nights of the last ten days of Ramadan (21, 23, 25, 27, 29). Therefore, one should increase prayer, recitation of the Qur’an, supplication, and seeking forgiveness during these nights.

The Prophet ﷺ especially taught to recite this supplication:

اللهم إنك عفو تحب العفو فاعف عني

Allahumma innaka ‘afuwwun tuhibbul ‘afwa fa‘fu ‘anni

Meaning: O Allah, You are Most Forgiving and You love to forgive, so forgive me.

The best approach is to devote oneself to worship during all the nights of the last ten days of Ramadan.
