Does Eating After Wudu Break Wudu?

Question

I just completed wudu and forgot to put a piece of peppermint in my mouth. Can you eat after wudu and then pray?

Islamic Ruling & Answer

Verified

Yes, you may eat a peppermint after wudu and then pray, as eating does not invalidate wudu, even if done intentionally. However, if any particles remain in the mouth, it is preferable to rinse the mouth before salah.
