Islamic Ruling & Answer

Walekumussalam,

If you have high blood pressure and were supposed to take your medicine at suḥūr but could not wake up for suḥūr, then merely because of this it is not necessary to leave the fast. If you feel well and there is no serious harm or medical risk from fasting according to a doctor, then you may keep the fast.

However, if there is a real fear that fasting will harm your health or cause your blood pressure to rise significantly, then in that case it is permissible not to fast, and you can make up the missed fast later.
