VerifiedFeeding animals in Islam is a very good and virtuous act. It earns the pleasure of Allah and brings reward. It develops mercy and compassion in a person, and those who treat animals kindly benefit in this world and the Hereafter. The Prophet īˇē also taught us to be kind to animals and to give them food or water, so this act is considered following the Sunnah.
