“Gas & Urine doubts during salah – What to do?”

Question

Hi soo i quiet gasy where i start my salath or when i take wudu i only happens during these times mainly . Sometimes also i release gases . So tell me how can i pray . So i researched as sherik said during azan taking wudu this wudu wont break . So i started taking then out of nowhere i got gasy while taking wudu . Earlier it was only during salah and after taking wudu . But also when i move my but release trapped air between the buttocks , Not gas . So today when i took wudu i felt to release gas then i don't know wherever it was the air or gas . So i couldn't prayer properly . Then during my prayer all these thoughts and i kept messing the recitations of the salath .. But the thing is when im done praying everything stops . It starts the moment i start to take my wudu till the end of my dhikr . I don't know while i was taking wudu i felt gases but I don't know whether it was gas or air. And so i took the wudu during azan .but released gas now . i was so stressed i didn't pray sunnah , so doesn't the rule still apply. (Excused person). I don't what to do . Now this has alhamdulillah reduced but now I have started to get urine leaks . So I check when I feel it I get a sensation. So I applied the same sensation I drop of pee were leaked . Most of the time.. and it happens outside of Salah when I'm scrolling it happens when at classes it happened. Please tell me what to do ? Jazakallah

Islamic Ruling & Answer

This problem is usually just doubt (waswasa), not an actual breaking of wudu. In Islamic law, your wudu does not break unless you are sure—like clearly hearing a sound or smelling something. So, ignore doubts. If you only feel gas during prayer, continue your salah and do not stop, because this is often from Shaytan.

However, if it truly happens continuously throughout the whole prayer time—meaning you cannot stay clean for the entire time—then you are considered an excused person (ma‘zoor). In that case, make a fresh wudu after each prayer time begins, and you can pray fard, sunnah, and nafl with that wudu. During that time, anything that comes out will not break your wudu.

The same rule applies to urine drops. After cleaning yourself, make one wudu and ignore doubts. You may use tissue or cloth as a precaution.

Remember this principle: “Certainty is not removed by doubt.” So stop checking again and again.
