What breaks wudu in Islam?

Verified

Passing urine or stool

If urine, stool, or anything comes out from the private parts.

Passing gas (farting)

Whether with sound or without sound (if you are sure).

Discharge of mani, mazi, or wadi

Any of these fluids coming out breaks wudu (mani also requires a full bath/ghusl).

Vomiting a mouthful

If you vomit enough to fill the mouth.

Bleeding or pus flowing out

If blood or pus comes out and flows beyond the spot.

Deep sleep

Sleeping in a way that you lose awareness of your body.

Fainting or losing senses

Becoming unconscious or mentally unaware, even for a short time.

Laughing loudly during prayer

If an adult laughs out loud in salah, wudu breaks.
