Can I Name My Baby Boy Muhammad Anas ur Rehman?

Question

can I keep Muhammad Anas ur Rehman name for baby boy?

Islamic Ruling & Answer

Verified

“Muhammad Anas ur Rehman” is a permissible and good name.

“Muhammad” is the blessed name of the Prophet ﷺ, “Anas” means love, affection, and friendliness, while “Ar-Rahman” is one of the special names of Allah Almighty.

However, a more appropriate and commonly used form would be “Muhammad Anas Abdurrehman” or simply “Muhammad Anas.”
