Can I Name My Baby Boy Muhammad Hasan ur Rehman?

Question

can I keep Muhammad Hasan ur Rehman name of baby boy?

Islamic Ruling & Answer

Verified

Yes, the name “Muhammad Hasan ur Rahman” is permissible and has a good meaning.

However, “Ar-Rahman” is one of the special names of Allah, so a more appropriate and commonly used name would be “Muhammad Hasan Abdur Rahman” or simply “Muhammad Hasan.”
