Which Country's Date Counts for Qurbani If I Live Abroad?

I live in Toronto, Ontario, Canada but I have arranged an Eid al Adha Sacrifice in India. Which date and time should be observed for the sacrifice?

VerifiedIn India, the sacrifice (Qurbani/Eid al-Adha sacrifice) can only be performed on the day of Eid al-Adha that is, on 28 May 2026 and only after the Eid prayer. Generally, Qurbani is done from after the morning Eid prayer until Maghrib.
Living in Toronto does not change the date, because the Qurbani is observed according to the place where the sacrifice is actually being performed.
