Replying to questions about appearance and modesty

Question

What should a person reply . If a sister asks if she looks good in this colour , or if she should keep her hair this way or that , but she does not wear a hijab . Also complimenting , non muslims or muslims on their outfit if it is not modest . Thank you for your time .

Avoid exaggeration or unnecessary compliments. You can use polite, general phrases like “It looks fine” or “Your style is nice,” and always keep halal and Islamic limits in mind.
