Talking to Allah:What Is Allowed?

Question

If one has a habit of talking Allah , What are the things one should not say Can one say "ya Allah , how beautiful this bird is" Or talking about a thing which one wants to buy , and founds pretty . And saying "I did so and so yesterday"

Islamic Ruling & Answer

Verified

Talking to Allah and sharing what is in your heart is allowed and a good habit, as long as you keep respect and proper manners.

Saying, “O Allah, how beautiful this bird is,” is allowed. It is praising Allah’s creation.

It is also allowed to say that you like something. It is better to add, “If it is good for me, then grant it to me.”

Mentioning your daily actions is also allowed.

However, speaking in a disrespectful way, complaining as an objection against Allah, or being proud of a sin is not correct.
