Ruling on crossing the miqat without performing the farewell tawaf (Tawaf al-Wada‘)

Question

After haj crossed meeqat without doing tawaf e widah., what to do pls guide

Islamic Ruling & Answer

Verified

If a pilgrim leaves beyond the miqat without performing the Farewell Tawaf (Tawaf al-Wada‘), then a dam (the sacrifice of one sheep or goat within the Haram area) becomes obligatory upon him.

However, if he has not gone too far and returns to Makkah to perform the Farewell Tawaf, the obligation of the dam will be waived. But if he does not return and continues his journey, then offering the dam remains obligatory.
