Three divorces given — marriage irrevocably ended (Hanafi Ruling)

Question

I was married and due to some differences with the wife i gave 1st divorce in the car to my wife. Than we resolved our difference and i did ruju after first divorce . After few months we had argument on the whatsapp and she kept asking for the divorce when she insist i gave her divorce by saying " i divorce you " than again i did ruju but again after few months due to our differences again she asked for divorce on whatsapp and i gave her divorce by saying i divorce u. Every-time message was reached and she has read that message Now my question is this divorce valid i gave her because asked for it many times. Kind of she forced me to give her is there any way out of this issue . I and she follow hanafi madhab. Im not sure about the intension of giving divorce when she insist so many times i gave her . I wanted to fulfill what she said

Islamic Ruling & Answer

Verified

You gave your wife divorce three times using clear words:

First time: In the car > one revocable divorce (ṭalāq raj‘ī) happened, then you took her back (rujū‘), so the marriage continued.

Second time: On WhatsApp by saying “I divorce you” > second revocable divorce happened, then you again took her back, so the marriage continued.

Third time: Again on WhatsApp by saying “I divorce you” > the third divorce happened.

After these three divorces, the marriage is completely ended. This is called final and irreversible divorce (ṭalāq mughallazah).

Now the ruling is:

You cannot take her back (no rujū‘) You cannot remarry her

Unless:

She marries another man in a real marriageThen that marriage ends naturally (divorce or death)And she completes her waiting period (ʿiddah)Only after that, she can marry you again.

About your concern (she insisted / forced you):

This does not change the ruling.

According to Hanafi fiqh:

If the husband gives divorce in clear words while in his senses, the divorce counts even if the wife kept insisting or asking for it. Also, with clear words like “I divorce you,” intention does not matter.

There is no Shar‘i way out, because after three divorces, the separation is final according to Hanafi fiqh.

You may still consult a qualified scholar for personal guidance, but the ruling remains the same.
