Does Bending the Legs While Standing Invalidate Salah?

Question

If a person while praying , bend his legs while he is standing , Does this make salah invalid .

Islamic Ruling & Answer

Verified

If a person slightly bends his legs while standing in prayer, but he is still standing straight, the prayer is valid because the standing position (Qiyam) is still fulfilled.

However, if he bends his knees so much that he is no longer standing straight and the proper standing position is lost, then the obligatory (farz) prayer will not be valid, because standing is compulsory in farz prayer.
