Does tasting something unessecerly breaks the fast
Islamic Ruling & Answer
VerifiedIf there is a necessity, tasting something while fasting is allowed. If there is no necessity, tasting is disliked (makruh). However, if a fasting person tastes something and it does not go down the throat, the fast is not broken. But if it goes down the throat, the fast will be broken.
