Assalamualaikum..i forgot if i prayed 2 rakat or 1 rakat after tashahud during duhr fard prayer..what to do?

VerifiedWalekumussalam,
(1) If you are unsure whether you prayed 1 or 2 rak‘ahs, count it as 1 rak‘ah and continue to the Tashahhud (sitting), because it’s possible the second rak‘ah was already prayed.
(2) If you are unsure whether you prayed 2 or 3 rak‘ahs, count it as 2 rak‘ahs and continue to the Tashahhud.
(3) If you are unsure whether you prayed 3 or 4 rak‘ahs, count it as 3 rak‘ahs, do the Tashahhud, complete the fourth rak‘ah, and then perform Sajdah Sahw so that the prayer is complete and correct.
