What Breaks the Fast in Islam?

Question

What things breaks the fast?

Islamic Ruling & Answer

Verified

Fasting breaks if a person intentionally:

Eats or drinks.

Has sexual relations.

Makes themselves vomit on purpose.

A woman starts her menstrual or post-birth bleeding.

If someone forgets and eats or drinks, the fast does not break.

Note :

Anything done intentionally that puts food, drink, or sexual pleasure into the body will break the fast.
