Question
i have lots of ear peircings that hurt when i try to trmove themas they are not healed so i simply twist and turn them but water deosnt enetr the hole inside only outside is that sifficent. but in my sunnah ghusul i managed to remove them all but in my fard ghususl the ones after my period i didnt remove them all as i was scared it might be not healed or pain is there but i did twist them alot many times
Islamic Ruling & Answer
In the situation described, if the ear piercings are tight and removing them causes pain or discomfort, then it is not necessary to remove them. During ghusl, it is sufficient to move the piercings enough to allow water to reach the ear piercing holes. There is no need to insert a stick or anything else into the holes to make the water reach them, nor is it necessary to make excessive efforts.
Since you moved and twisted the piercings several times during your obligatory ghusl, if this gave you a reasonable likelihood that water reached the piercing holes, then your ghusl is valid, insha’Allah. Mere doubt does not invalidate the ghusl.
“It is necessary to move a tight earring and a tight ring. If there is no earring, and water enters the hole as the water passes over it, that is sufficient, just as with the navel. Otherwise, the water should be made to enter it, as mentioned in Fath al-Qadir. One should not burden oneself by inserting anything other than water, such as a piece of wood or something similar.”
And Allah knows best.
