Is Nudity During Intercourse Permissible in Islam?

Being naked during intercourse is permissible in Islam. A husband and wife are completely lawful for one another, and there is no sin in this. Covering with a sheet or cloth is not obligatory; however, out of modesty and shyness, it is considered better and recommended to use a cover.

As for the presence of angels, they are with a person at all times, but their presence does not make lawful relations between husband and wife impermissible.

However, it is very important to maintain proper privacy and concealment during such acts, especially when there are children in the house, so that they do not see anything inappropriate.

If the wife feels uncomfortable in this matter, the husband should act with gentleness and understanding and consider her comfort, because mutual consent and peace are very important in married life.
