Question
If one had a friend , who is a non-muslim , i founded out that she makes fun of Allahu Akbar and so told her that how disrespectful and wrong it is and she apologized and said that someone from her group said it and she didn't know , and if after few days , she again made fun and when that person her again , she said , "it is just a meme". The person didn't realised that , it would a sin to keep her as a friend . And after few days realised , and ignored her , and her group , what to do if , the person had a conflict with that group and has not told them the reason for ignoring, and they might think it is because of something else . Should she say to them the reason and should she , tell that group , that it is worng and disrespectful to make fun of Allahu Akbar . She thinks that , they might not know . What to do in such situation , and if she didn't told them reason and cut if ties with them, will it sinful . It is allowed to make dua for such people. Thank you for your time
Islamic Ruling & Answer
VerifiedIn this matter, making fun of “Allahu Akbar” is wrong and disrespectful, so you were right to explain it to them. If they repeatedly refuse to understand, then distancing yourself from them is appropriate and not sinful. It is not necessary to state the reason, but explaining it gently is better so they may realize their mistake. And making dua for their guidance is completely permissible.
