Waswas in prayer & Mother’s concern

Question

If a person is suffering from waswas , and tit takes him such a long time to make wudhu and pray , and his mothe is very worried about him , that she wakes up at night and just takes a lot of stress , so after the person got to know this , he started to end his prayer in the middle or delay it whenever his mother , asks him , if he is done prayers and sometimes lie that he has done wudhu . What should this person do if he is trying to get rid of waswas but it is coming in different forms .

Islamic Ruling & Answer

Verified

Such a person should ignore the intrusive doubts (waswas) and stick to the Islamic principle that wudu is not invalidated unless there is certainty. Therefore, he should avoid repeating wudu again and again or unnecessarily prolonging the prayer. It is not correct to break the prayer midway or deliberately delay it; rather, he should complete it on time in a simple and moderate manner. At the same time, he should be mindful of his mother’s worry and concern, while also ensuring that his prayer is performed properly. He must strictly avoid lying, as it is a sin. He should also make dua engage in frequent remembrance of Allah, and adopt both spiritual and practical steps to overcome these doubts.
