Assalamualaikum..can a woman wear hijab and still apply lipstick?not make up only mild lipstick.

Walekumussalam,
If a woman goes outside where non-mahram men can see her, even mild lipstick that beautifies the lips should be avoided, because it is considered adornment (zeenah).

ŲŲŲŲا ŲŲبŲدŲŲŲŲ Ø˛ŲŲŲŲØĒŲŲŲŲŲŲ ØĨŲŲŲŲا Ų Ųا ظŲŲŲØąŲ Ų ŲŲŲŲŲا
(Surah An-Nur 24:31)
Translation:
âAnd let them not display their beauty except what ordinarily appears thereof.â
However, wearing lipstick at home for the husband or among women is permissible.
